YOUNG LAWYERS NETWORK LEADERSHIP COUNCIL
NOW ACCEPTING NEW MEMBERS!

The DC Bar Foundation launched the Young Lawyers Network Leadership Council (YLN LC) in November 2011 as an opportunity for younger attorneys to further the goal of access to justice within the community. Members serve as ambassadors in order to promote DCBF’s mission and programs and to help raise additional resources to support local legal aid organizations.

 

The YLN LC is now accepting new member applications for two-year terms starting October 2021 and ending September 2023!

 

To qualify for consideration, individuals must be members of the District of Columbia Bar in good standing, under the age of 40 at the start of their term, either live or work in the District of Columbia and committed to carrying out the responsibilities of the YLN LC. The staff of LRAP-eligible employers or of organizations eligible to receive funding from the DC Bar Foundation are ineligible for membership. Membership Guidelines and Criteria 

Interested applicants should submit a completed application form, résumé, letter of interest, and up to two letters of support that speak to their commitment to advance the District’s civil legal services network by 5:00 PM on Monday, August 2, 2021. Please send all materials to Greer Richey, Development and Communications Specialist, at richey@dcbarfoundation.org. Please include “Young Lawyers Network Leadership Council, [Your Full Name]” in the email’s subject line.
