Sponsor Avenues to Justice, happening on July 20!

On July 20, the Young Lawyers Network Leadership Council (YLN LC) will host the third annual Avenues to Justice event. We hope you will join us in person at Skadden or online on July 20 from 6 PM – 8 PM for an insightful conversation about civil legal aid in the District and the importance of diversity at all levels of the legal profession. We are thrilled to spend the evening with former US Senator Doug Jones and a panel of DC Bar Foundation grantees, including Rachel Rintelmann of the Legal Aid Society of the District of Columbia, Karen Newton Cole of Neighborhood Legal Services Program, and Chas Lopez of Washington Lawyers' Committee for Civil Rights and Urban Affairs.

This year, the YLN LC hopes to raise $50,000 for DC's legal aid network through Avenues to Justice. So far, we have raised $16,866 – 33% of our overall goal.

Will you help us reach $50,000? Individual and Corporate sponsorships are available at several levels sure to fit your needs. Sponsors are granted a varying number of tickets to attend a pre-event happy hour from 6 PM - 7 PM, and the main event from 7 PM - 8 PM. The main event will also be streamed online for those who wish to watch but are unable to purchase a sponsorship at this time.

All proceeds from Avenues to Justice benefit our work, which has been made even more critical due to the COVID-19 pandemic, providing equal access to justice within our community by strengthening, expanding, and transforming the District's civil legal aid network.
