Arthur Smith, Program Officer

Arthur Smith is a Program Officer with the DC Bar Foundation, where he supports the work of the Programs team. He joined the Foundation in June of 2021 and brings with him a passion for racial justice and community building in support of progressive change. He is eager to support the Foundation as it seeks to center racial equity in its programming and work and build partnerships to increase access to justice for the residents of Washington DC.


Prior to joining the DC Bar Foundation, Arthur worked as a Program Coordinator for Equal Justice Works, where he managed multiple programs and provided support on a variety of projects. Arthur has worked for nonprofit organizations, government agencies, unions, and political campaigns. He holds an M.P.P in public policy from The George Washington University.
