As staff and members of the civil legal aid network, we are fortunate to work to expand access to legal services in the District, but that work is not possible without support from generous donors like you.

Those looking to invest more deeply in the Foundation’s work may consider joining our 77 Society by making a gift of $1,000 or more. The Foundation also offers a monthly giving option online for those who wish to have a sustained impact throughout 2023. A monthly contribution of $83.34 will qualify the donor for membership in the 77 Society in twelve months, but any amount will make a difference.
Finally, as you plan your end-of-year giving, consider our three new lifetime giving tiers, named for African-American civil rights champions in the District: Charles T. Duncan, Charlotte E. Ray, and Charles Hamilton Houston. Can you see yourself joining any of the three tiers in the future?
