Silver Spring, Maryland
What brought you to DC?
It's home for me.
What was your first job in DC, and what did you learn?
In the legal profession, I was an intern at the DC Superior Court. I learned a lot about how different lawyers write, how to conduct yourself in a courtroom, etc. It was a really awesome experience.

When you fail, you gotta get back up and fight again.

A mural of the civil rights icons.
