DCSJTN members will be joined by guest speaker Andy Shallal, an artist, activist, and social entrepreneur best known as the founder of Busboys and Poets. Through Busboys and his civic work, Mr. Shallal has supported countless grassroots movements, artists, and visionaries across DC and beyond.


These gatherings are designed to deepen our shared practice, spark new ideas, and strengthen the bonds across our network. Don’t miss the chance to be in the room, grow your skills, and connect with others doing powerful work.

 

Rebecca Goldfrank to Receive 2025 Scoutt Prize


Rebecca Goldfrank, legal director at DC Affordable Law Firm, has been selected as the recipient of the 2025 Jerrold Scoutt Prize! The Scoutt Prize is awarded annually to an attorney who has worked for a significant portion of their career at a nonprofit organization, providing devoted, skillful, and compassionate legal work for underserved residents of the District of Columbia.
