Many ways to make a difference

Updated: Aug 18, 2020

Your gifts are now more important than ever as the DC Bar Foundation responds to the vast needs in the District’s civil legal aid network, resulting from the COVID-19 pandemic. The recently-passed CARES Act provides additional donor benefits for givers supporting organizations like the DC Bar Foundation that are responding to the COVID-19 crisis.

You can make a one-time or monthly gift online or you can send checks payable to “DC Bar Foundation” at 80 M Street SE, Suite 100, Washington, DC 20003.

Many supporters are using their Donor-Advised Funds to make generous gifts during this crisis.

Already this year, twenty-six persons have joined our 77 Society – for donors who commit to give $1,000 or more each year. Please consider joining this impactful group of donors -- now totaling more than 70 persons -- who are helping to transform the District’s civil legal aid network.

To read stories of why donors support the DC Bar Foundation read the profiles of 77 Society Members Nathalie Gilfoyle (Class of 2017) and Daniel Rezneck Class of 2017).

For more information about making legacy gifts to the DC Bar Foundation, contact J. Daryl Byler, Development Director, at byler@dcbarfoundation.org.
