Kukua Osei-Gyamfi, Grants Specialist

Kukua joined DCBF in April 2021 as a Grant Specialist with almost five years of philanthropic experience. Kukua’s role is to ensure that the Foundation grantmaking process runs as efficiently as possible. Before joining DCBF, Kukua was an Administrative Assistant at Potomac Health Foundation in Woodbridge, VA. During her time at Potomac Health Foundation, Kukua was the lead grant administrator for their grants management system and played an integral part in grantmaking decisions.

Kukua received a B.S. in Health Sciences with a concentration in Public Health from Old Dominion University. She believes that civil legal aid is a social determinant of health that contributes to the overall health of an individual, the community, and the nation.

Kukua enjoys spending time with her family, cheer & dance, and all things food-related.
