Upcoming DC Legal Aid Transformations Network Convening

The next DC Legal Aid Transformations Network convening will take place in September. We will share details on a specific date, location, and timing as the event approaches.


Save the Date: November 8 Fall Reception

The DC Bar Foundation will host its annual Fall Reception on Wednesday, November 8. We look forward to highlighting the Foundation's recent initiatives and awarding the 2023 Jerrold Scoutt Prize to Tracy Goodman of Children's Law Center. We will also recognize the work of our program partners, Loan Repayment Assistance Program recipients, and the ongoing support of our loyal donors and volunteers. Stay tuned for more information to come.


Sample Grant Applications Now Available

Sample grant applications for the FY24 application cycle for Access to Justice, Civil Legal Counsel Projects Program, and General Support Grants programs are available on our website for public review. FY24 applications will be open for submission on August 1 and will be due on August 31.


CIR Chats

The monthly CIR Chats, where we discuss different topics related to the Coordinated Intake and Referral System, are paused for the summer. The monthly chats will resume in September. If you have any topics you would like discussed during a future Chat, please email innovation@dcbarfoundation.org. Past topics have included picking a name for the system, intake workers, navigator training, and the client experience.
