Join us for our November 18 Fall Reception

The DC Bar Foundation invites you to join us on Tuesday, November 18, for our annual Fall Reception. This year’s reception will be held at the Foundation’s offices (200 Massachusetts Ave., NW, Second Floor) from 6:30 – 8:30 PM.

Each Fall, the DC Bar Foundation gathers with members of DC’s civil legal aid community to celebrate a year of work dedicated to ensuring access to justice for all District residents.

We look forward to highlighting the Foundation’s recent initiatives, as well as recognizing the work of our grantee partners, Loan Repayment Assistance Program recipients, and the ongoing support of our loyal donors, volunteers, and leaders.

We also look forward to presenting the 2025 Jerrold Scoutt Prize to Rebecca Goldfrank, Magistrate Judge for the DC Superior Court. Ms. Goldfrank previously served as legal director for the DC Affordable Law Firm, where she managed a 25-member team representing clients in immigration, family law, and probate and estate planning matters.

The Scoutt Prize is awarded annually to an attorney who has worked for a significant portion of their career at a nonprofit organization, providing devoted, skillful, and compassionate legal work for underserved residents of the District of Columbia.
