The DC Bar Foundation (DCBF) is seeking candidates for our Board of Directors for three-year terms, from October 1, 2021 – September 30, 2024. In addition to our commitment to diversifying our Board, DCBF seeks candidates with skill sets that support our strategic vision and five accompanying strategies. Those skill sets can include experience with:
Grantmaking
Racial equity and justice
Multi-stakeholder collaboratives or networks
Research and evaluation
Delivery of civil legal aid without lawyers (e.g., technology, navigators, online intake)
Fundraising – beyond lawyers and law firms
