Looking for a FUN way to make legal aid accessible to all District residents in need, while bringing your team together to support your neighbors in need? Register your workplace for 2019 Go Casual for Justice. It kicks off during Pro Bono Week on October 21 and runs through December 20.
Funds raised through Go Casual provide critical resources to DC’s civil legal aid network as we fund innovative civil legal aid programs, provide training for legal aid attorneys, and help legal aid attorneys pay off their law school debt.
Last year, champions for justice from across DC came raised more than $40,000 for their neighbors in need. This year, we know we can raise $50,000 from 40 workplaces. BUT: We can’t do it without your support!
It’s easier than ever to participate in Go Casual for Justice, using the new materials in our Team Leader Toolkit. (Coming soon!) Step-by-step guides on how to put together your campaign, printable and customizable materials, impact stories, and examples of some of our most enthusiastic and successful participants from years past will help you succeed, with minimal work and more fun – all for our most vulnerable neighbors.
