So far, 17 generous sponsors have contributed $125,000 toward our $500,000 fundraising goal for the 2026 DC Walk for Justice 5K. Will you encourage your workplace to join them?
The third annual DC Walk for Justice 5K is happening on Thursday, October 22, at Nationals Park, and the DC Bar Foundation invites all DC-area law firms, businesses, and corporations to partner with us by sponsoring this year’s event.
In sponsoring this event, your company will foster closer ties with the community, create a tangible and lasting social impact, and position your organization as a leader in promoting public safety and wellbeing for District residents. And, importantly, your organization will make employees proud to be part of a justice-minded workplace.
The DC Walk for Justice 5K gives corporate sponsors and walkers the unique opportunity to gather for a family-friendly afternoon of fresh air, education, networking, and fun in support of civil legal aid in DC. Participants enjoy a scenic 5K route, offering views of Nationals Park and the Anacostia River, followed by a finish line party in Centerfield Plaza complete with food, music, face painting, and an appearance by Nationals Racing President Teddy Roosevelt!
Throughout the event, participants will have the opportunity to learn about the civil legal needs in DC and how the Foundation’s funding–bolstered by our event sponsors–addresses those needs. By supporting a network of legal aid providers, the Foundation helps more than 30,000 District residents each year secure the fundamentals of life – the roof over your head, family stability, personal safety, and financial sustainability.
There are six sponsorship tiers with varying benefits, sure to fit your organization’s budget and needs. Click here to visit our sponsorship page to learn more. Prospective sponsors should contact Daryl Byler, Director of Development, at byler@dcbarfoundation.org.
Thank you to our 2026 DC Walk for Justice 5K Sponsors!
