Since every dollar of DC IOLTA interest supports legal services for low income people in the District, the Foundation encourages lawyers and law firms to select banks that offer highly competitive interest rates on IOLTA accounts.

Our DC IOLTA Prime Partner Banks have made a special commitment to offer the most competitive net interest rates on their DC IOLTA accounts.

Lawyers and law firms can open a DC IOLTA account with any participating bank, but can support access to justice in two simple ways:

2. Encourage your financial institution to become a DC Prime Partner Bank!
