Diana Cruz, CIR Program Manager

Diana Cruz joined the DC Bar Foundation in November 2023 as the Coordinated Intake and Referral (“CIR”) System Program Manager. In this role, Diana provides leadership and direction for the program and has responsibility for strategic and administrative aspects of program delivery. As CIR Program Manager, Diana interfaces with key community and professional stakeholders involved in structuring, testing, launching, and running a streamlined process for DC residents to access legal assistance through a single phone number or website.

Diana is passionate about leveraging technology to improve access to justice for everyone. Prior to joining the DC Bar Foundation, Diana served as Senior Intake Coordinator at Legal Aid DC, where she spearheaded the creation of that organization’s first-ever online intake system. As an intake worker, Diana interfaced with hundreds of community members in both English and Spanish. Additionally, she has held program and outreach roles at other non-profit organizations. Outside of work, she also volunteered as an ESL conversation partner and helped prepare naturalization applications for members of immigrant communities.

Diana holds a BA in English from Amherst College. In her spare time, Diana enjoys volunteering with various national and local organizations that seek to promote social justice, reading, and spending time with her partner and their cat.
