The Last Justice Book Signing and Reception

altFeaturing author Anthony J. Franze
With special guest Neal Katyal - Hogan Lovells US LLP
(former Acting Solicitor General of the United States)

The DC Bar Foundation’s Young Lawyers Network is hosting a reception at Arnold & Porter on Tuesday, June 5, 2012 (6:00-8:00 p.m.) featuring Anthony J. Franze, author of The Last Justice – a tale of murder, corruption, and unbridled ambition set in the marble halls and secluded corridors of the U.S. Supreme Court.

Anthony, a lawyer in Arnold & Porter’s Appellate & Supreme Court practice group, will give brief remarks about his debut novel, including how his passion for Supreme Court history inspired him to make the Court the backdrop for his thriller. He will also be on hand to sign copies of his book, which will be available for purchase at the reception.

In keeping with The Last Justice's theme, former Acting Solicitor General of the United States Neal Katyal will join us as our special guest.

The reception will feature a sampling of WhistlePig Straight Rye Whiskey and include a cross section of DC’s legal professionals -- an ideal opportunity to meet and mingle with the "who's who" of our legal community.

A great social event for summer associates and other law firm members, The Last Justice reception also is a great way to showcase support for pro bono and public service. Purchasing a block of tickets or sponsoring the event will help provide critical legal services to the elderly, the homeless, battered women, foster children, and others who desperately need legal representation, but cannot afford it.

Tickets for The Last Justice reception are $30 each ($25 each for 10 or more tickets).
Sponsorship opportunities also available.
