Applicants must be employed with a DC-based, non-profit, tax-exempt charitable organization that provides civil legal services to the District’s low-income or underserved residents and that is eligible for funding from the DC Bar Foundation. Government employment does not qualify. You can download a list of eligible employers, current as of September 30, 2014, here: 2015 Eligible Employer List.

To apply to be added to the list of eligible employers for the 2015 LRAP application cycle, you must complete and submit the 2015 Eligible Employer Application Form along with a copy of your organization’s:

1. IRS letter that proves your organization is a non-profit, tax-exempt charitable organization; and,
2. Business license that proves your organization conducts business within the District of Columbia.

Submission Instructions: Please send all three documents, as PDFs, to Imoni Washington, Director of Programs, at, by 5:00 pm on Tuesday, October 28, 2014, to be considered an eligible employer for the 2015 LRAP application cycle.
